Raleigh, N.C. — Firefighters battled a blaze Friday morning that was reported on multiple floors of a large apartment building under construction in downtown Raleigh.
The building, at 910 Tryon Hill Drive in Raleigh, is near North Carolina State University, and its colorful façade can be seen from Hillsborough Street.
Authorities said the building had no tenants, and no one was injured.
It was unclear what sparked the fire. Witnesses reported seeing smoke but no flames as firefighters chased the blaze inside the walls.
