Fire Damages 2 Raleigh Businesses

— Investigators are looking into an overnight fire that damaged two Raleigh businesses.

Authorities said the fire started at around 1 a.m. Wednesday at a building, located at 8205 Hargrove Road. The building houses Capital Office Supply and Atlantic Countertops.

There is no word on how the fire started, authorities said. Investigators said no one was inside at the time.

    It's not arson. It was an electrical fire that started in one of the offices on the Capital Office Supply side. They are trying to determine which piece of equipment shorted out and started the fire.
