Fire burns Raleigh home

— Authorities said several people were displaced Sunday evening after their home caught fire.

The house at 6928 Beaverwood Drive, off Fox Road, caught fire at about 7:30 p.m.

Everyone made it out of the home safely, and firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze.

The cause of the fire remained under investigation.

    Sorry for the owner's loss, but come on WRAL - the word fire in that headline is pointless, even by your sorry standards.

    Well, thank goodness they don't report everytime there are fire trucks and sirens...how do they pick and choose which one to post?

    becuase it is news, when people see and hear fire trucks etc all night in their neck of the woods, they may be inclined to check with a news outlet to see what happened.
