Fire burns mobile unit at elementary school in Garner

Garner, N.C. — A mobile unit at Polenta Elementary school in Garner was significantly damaged after it caught fire Tuesday evening.
Officials say a driver passing the school noticed the heavy flames around 11 p.m.
Firefighters with the Cleveland Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene and extinguished the fire, which started in a mobile restroom facility that serves the mobile classrooms around it.
The fire caused extensive damages to the unit, officials said, but no one was injured.
The incident is currently under investigation.
