DURHAM, N.C. — The Bayou Festival Tour will bring a touch of Louisiana to Durham in April. With all-you-can seafood and beer tickets, you can enjoy some Cajun cuisine while soaking up the culture of the bayou.

In addition to the food, you can enjoy unlimited beer and bourbon samples, a hot pepper eating contest, lots of Mardi Gras beads, arts and crafts and a kid's zone.

To help you get into the spirit, there will be a variety of music - blues, jazz, funk, zydeco, cajun, brass, country, alternative and rock.

Tickets are on sale now for the April 20 event at the CCB Plaza. There are three-hour sessions throughout the day starting at noon.

Here is a breakdown of the ticket options:

  • VIP packages, which get you all you can eat seafood and all you can sample beer and bourbon, are $50 in advance and $65 on site. You get an extra hour at the event with VIP tickets.
