Festival for the Eno, the Eno River Association's long-running celebration, is Saturday, July 1, and Tuesday, July 4, this year at West Point on the Eno, a Durham city park.

The festival features food, crafts, music and more, including plenty of activities for kids, such as nature programs, paddling demos, backyard chickens and lots of reasons to cool off in the Eno River itself.

Performers include the Paperhand Puppet Intervention and the super talented Lang Sisters from Wake Forest. This is a July 4 week tradition for many families.

Passes are $23 for a single day and $35 for both days. Teen tickets for kids ages 13 to 17 are $11. Kids 12 and under are admitted free. The festival's website has more information and a full schedule.
