Felon charged with trafficking cocaine

Raleigh police charged a convicted felon Friday with trafficking cocaine, according to arrest warrants.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police charged a convicted felon Friday with trafficking cocaine, according to arrest warrants.

The warrants say that Mario Montay Quiller, 29, manufactured and sold drugs from his apartment at 4010-C Water Oak Drive.

Quiller faces charges of trafficking in cocaine, manufacturing crack cocaine, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance, possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Quiller has been incarcerated four separate times over the last 10 years, according state Department of Correction records. His past charges include assault on a police officer, possession of a controlled substance, conspiracy to commit assault with a deadly weapon and possession of stolen goods.

Due to his criminal record, Quiller's bond was set at $1,250,000.

Quiller was being held in the Wake County jail Saturday. He is due in court Monday.
