Fayettville police: Car could be clue to drive-by at Smokey Bones
Fayetteville police on Saturday released surveillance video of a vehicle outside Smokey Bones restaurant and asked for help from the public in linking the car to a drive-by shooting in the Skibo Road parking lot on May 10.
Posted — UpdatedIn that shooting, Algeria Khalyid McNair, 21, was hit in the face, neck and knee, and was taken to UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill with life-threatening injuries.
Police asked that anyone who recognizes the car or has other information about the shooting call 910-303-9554 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477. Anonymous tips can be texted to 274637. Type "4Tip” in the body, followed by the message.
