Fayetteville woman accused of soliciting husband's death

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A Fayetteville woman accused of asking a man to kill her husband was arrested Wednesday.

Barbara Maxine McMillan, 56, of 6811 Pin Oak Lane, faces one count of solicitation to commit a felony.

Fayetteville police said a 31-year old man said McMillan offered him money to commit the crime. They did not elaborate further.

McMillan was being held without bond Thursday morning in the Cumberland County jail.
