Fayetteville police arrested a woman Wednesday evening on charges she hit her boyfriend with a car after the two argued.
Posted — UpdatedFAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police arrested a woman Wednesday evening on charges she hit her boyfriend with a car after the two argued.
Police were called to the 5700 block of Aftonshire Drive at about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday to investigate a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. Once there, officers took Shirley Jean Paulk, 26, into custody, charging her with assault with a deadly weapon.
Her boyfriend, Tracy Douglas Peterson Jr, also 26, was treated and released from Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, police said.
