Fayetteville police seeking teen in connection with robbery

Fayetteville police are searching for a 19-year-old wanted in connection with the Feb. 5 robbery of the Kyoto Express on Ramsey Street.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Khary Eshaun Brooks should call 910-237-9374 or 910-237-9391.

The robbery at the Kyoto Express was one of several at area restaurants in the last month. The most recent happened about 9:40 p.m. on Feb. 20 at the Burger King on Raeford Road. Police said they are searching for additional suspects.

The most recent robbery happened about 9:40 p.m. on Feb. 20 at the Burger King on Raeford Road.

Fayetteville police say they believe the men robbed the following businesses:

  • Feb. 4: Burger King, Reilly Road, 9:20 p.m.
  • Feb. 5: Kyoto Express, Ramsey Street, 8:40 p.m.
  • Feb. 6: Little Ceasers, Raeford Road in Hope Mills, 8:20 p.m.
  • Feb. 12: Golden China, Bonanza Drive, 8:20 p.m.
  • Feb. 12: Family Dollar, Raeford Road, 9:10 p.m.
  • Feb. 15: Lil Thrift Food Mart, Hope Mills Road, 9:50 p.m.
  • Feb. 15: Short Stop Food Mart, Owen Drive, 9:45 p.m.
  • Feb. 20: Burger King, Raeford Road, 9:40 p.m.

Anyone with information about any of the robberies should call the Fayetteville Police Department at 910-433-1856 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477. Local businesses can call 910-433-1033 to schedule a visit from police to conduct a site security survey.
