Fayetteville police seek robber of Cook Out

Witnesses at the restaurant told officers that a man fired shots into a wall and pressured two employees to open the safe. He fled with an undetermined amount of money.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police responded to a report of an armed robbery Monday morning at the Cook Out Restaurant at 6903 Cliffdale Road.

Witnesses at the restaurant told officers that a man fired shots into a wall and pressured two employees to open the safe. He fled with an undetermined amount of money.

The suspect is described as a black man wearing dark clothing, sunglasses and a red hat.

One Cook Out employee was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with minor injuries.
