"How kind and caring you are. Has it ever occurred to you that he could be laying dead someplace, a murder victim? Do you have children? Do you have parents? Would you be so callus if one of them turned up missing? Let us hope you never find out. Though such an experience might add to your sadly lacking humanity.

    "Away Without Leave"

AWOL = "Absent With Out Leave" Not "Away Without Leave"

No hurry to look for him missing since OCT??? - BEACH

Yeah, I'm wondering the same thing. I would hate to think that my family members wouldn't care enough about me to worry about where I've been since October.

From other sources, it appears that they are trying to locate him because he is a missing person's case and the family has not heard from him. However, the article makes it sound as though he took off and is wanted by the police and/or military. Doesn't seem to be the case so hoping all is ok.
