Fayetteville police seek man in connection with Waffle House shooting

Posted December 6, 2012

— Fayetteville police are looking for a 24-year-old man who they say fired multiple rounds at off-duty deputies Sunday while at a Waffle House on Yakdin Road.

Donqueiz Wilbridge, of the 1200 block of Weeping Willow Way, is wanted for possession of a firearm by a felon and two counts of assault on a law enforcement officer.

According to investigators, Wilbridge shot at Cumberland County deputies L. Tuisasosopo and T. Stiokis about 3:20 a.m. Sunday while they were working off-duty and then fled the scene. The deputies were not injured.

Wilbridge is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 115 pounds, police said. He has a tattoo of "J'nyra" on one arm and "Kira" on the other.

Anyone with information on Wilbridge's whereabouts should call the Fayetteville Police Department at 910-433-1856 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.

fired multiple rounds at off-duty deputies

I hope they find him. And when they do, I sincerely wish the judge would make them get a "clean hair cut" and do away with the mop mess on his head.

"Police say the suspect's actions were very scattered, smothered and covered".

Gracious, there are many an early morning on the weekends that I'm at an Awful Waffle in Fayettville after a night at the club with my Kumu and halau sisters! (I usually just want to chill but my kumu, who is 10 years older than I, always says "Let's go out, lol!)
