— Fayetteville police said Friday that they are looking for a man wanted in connection with an ATM robbery Sunday night.

The victim was withdrawing money around 9 p.m. at the drive-through ATM at a BB&T Bank branch at 2507 Bragg Blvd. when the robber walked up to the vehicle and pointed a semi-automatic handgun.

After robbing the victim, he fled on foot toward Bragg and Stamper roads. No one was injured, police said.

Investigators are looking for a black man standing 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds.

At the time of the crime, he was wearing a black shirt, black shorts and a black hat with a yellow bill.

Investigators asked that anyone with information about the robbery contact the Fayetteville Police Department at 910-433-1856 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.

I geuss you need to make sure their is noone around before you start using the atm anymore. If someone starts coming toward you, hit cancel and drive off. If they show a gun, drive faster or hit them with your car.

If the bandits stop wearing hoodies it sure is a lot easier to ID them.

Too sad, if they catch him he will back on the street in no time. Thanks in part to our FINE justice system. By the way there is no need to stop at the Wilmington jail! Keep on going.........
