Fayetteville police seek 2 men after fatal shooting

— Fayetteville police were searching for two suspects who allegedly went into a house and shot a man in the head.

Officers responded to 3573 Gazella Circle at 10:25 p.m. Sunday and found Jonathan Jones, 37, dead.

Detectives said they believe the shooting was drug-related.

Several other people were in the house at the time of the shooting, including several small children, police said. They were unharmed. Detectives had a very limited description of the suspects, who they said were two black men.

    To say that the children were not harmed may be a stretch. Could you imagine what it would be like to grow up in that type of environment? Those children will grow up displaying the same types of violence that they are observing now as young children. The cycle will continue. So sad for all of us.

    FIGURES!!! Thats all Im gonna say...... More black on black crimes. I wish young black men would set out a better example to people. Every time I read about a shooting and drugs it always black on black crime. Your great great grandparents would be so disappointed to learn that with all the years fought for equal rights and freedom. this is what has come off it. such a shame.... At least the children weren't hurt.
