Fayetteville police searching for masked suspect in robbery

Fayetteville police are searching for a man who robbed a Lil Thrift Food Mart Wednesday night.
According to police, the suspect walked into the shop, located at 1015 Hope Mills Road, holding a handgun. The man, who was wearing a bandana over his face, demanded that the clerk remove money from the cash register.
According to police, the man left on foot toward Keyboard Lane with another suspect.
It is unknown how much money the suspect took.
