FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Police said Tuesday that they are searching for two men in connection with a recent robbery and sexual assault at a Fayetteville motel.

A woman told investigators that she met the pair at a club on March 1, and they showed up at her room at the Knights Inn, at 2848 Bragg Blvd., early on March 2. The men forced their way into her room brandishing weapons, sexually assaulted her and grabbed an undisclosed amount of money and some of the woman's personal possessions from the room, police said.

The men were seen leaving the area in a turquoise late 1990s model Honda Accord with a North Carolina license plate, police said.

The first assailant is described as black, in his mid-20s to 30s, about 6 feet tall with a slim build. He has shoulder-length dreadlocks, a tattoo on his face and a chipped front tooth. He was wearing a white coat with a blue Polo logo, white jeans and white shoes.

The second assailant is described as black, about 5 feet 11 inches tall with a medium build. He has short hair and a neatly trimmed beard and was wearing a white shirt, white pants and white shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Fayetteville Police Department at 910-433-1856 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-TIPS (8477).
