Fayetteville police search for missing 16-year-old

Police said Hakeem Perry, 16, was reported missing by his family on Aug. 28. He was last seen around 7:30 p.m. on foot in the 1400 block of Grandview Drive in Fayetteville.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are asking for the public's help finding a teenager who has been missing since the end of August.

Police said Hakeem Perry, 16, was reported missing by his family on Aug. 28. He was last seen around 7:30 p.m. on foot in the 1400 block of Grandview Drive in Fayetteville.

Perry is a black male who is 6 feet, 3 inches tall, weighs 230 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, jean shorts and white Nike Air Force Ones. Police said Perry was possibly carrying a backpack or duffel bag and has unknown tattoos on both arms.
