Police were searching for a man who robbed a Fayetteville bank Monday afternoon.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Police were searching for a man who robbed a Fayetteville bank Monday afternoon.
A man walked into the Carter Bank and Trust at 123 Rowan St. at about 4 p.m., handed an envelope to a teller demanding money and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Fayetteville Police Department at 910-433-1856 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-TIPS (8477).
