FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are searching for a man who they say was involved on Wednesday in kidnapping, robbery and attempted rape.

Police obtained warrants for Revyn Tremaine Raymind, 43, who is charged with first-degree kidnapping, robbery with a dangerous weapon, attempted first-degree rape and communicating threats. Raymind is considered armed and dangerous.

Authorities said a victim went to a residence in the 1600 block of Rim Road to meet a friend at the friend's house. When the victim arrived, Raymind, who was unknown to the person, was also in the house.

Overnight, Raymind woke the victim up when he produced a razor blade and threatened her with it, police said. Raymind then stole the victim's personal possessions, made her move somewhere else in the residence where he tried to rape her.

Raymind fled in the victim's vehicle.

Anyone with information about Raymind should call Det. G. Watson with the Fayetteville Police Department at 910-303-9554 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.
