Fayetteville police: Man shoots stepfather, sister
An 18-year-old man shot his sister and stepfather Wednesday evening along the 2900 block of Ramsey Street, Fayetteville police said.
Posted — UpdatedInvestigators said that Joshua Holt shot James Hobbs, 45, multiple times at his home during a domestic incident. The girl, who lives at the house, was also injured.
Holt was arrested and charged with one count of attempted first-degree murder and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious injury, police said. He was being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $150,000 bond.
Paramedics transported both victims to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Hobbs and the girl were both listed in fair condition Thursday.
