Fayetteville police: Man charged in fatal apartment shooting
A 19-year-old has been charged in connection with a fatal shooting that happened Monday evening in the 4800 block of Alamance Road in Fayetteville, police said.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A 19-year-old has been charged in connection with a fatal shooting that happened Monday evening in the 4800 block of Alamance Road in Fayetteville, police said.
Shyheim White, of Dublin, is charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of 21-year-old Dennis Burden.
Burden died shortly after 6 p.m. Monday after being shot at an apartment.
White was arrested Tuesday morning and is being held in the Cumberland County jail under a $25,000 secured bond.
