— Fayetteville police made a third arrest Friday in connection with the prostitution of a 17-year-old girl, which prompted charges last month against a Raleigh police officer.

Deonte Jaquan Lovick Booker, 21, faces one count of promoting prostitution of a minor. His bond was set at $2,500.

Police said Sgt. Jason Brandon Hoyle, 34, was the teen girl's client and last saw her Feb. 7. He was arrested Feb. 16 and charged with promoting and participating in the prostitution of a minor.

The girl was charged with misdemeanor solicitation for prostitution.

Hoyle has been with the Raleigh Police Department since October 2000 and was assigned to the detective division.

No other details were released.

Stories like this just make one wonder how often the other LEO's keep quiet about things like this, not that they need to tell the world but some in house cleaning should take place,it would serve them and their community if they did police their own.
