Fayetteville police released surveillance images Tuesday of a man suspected of stealing from Village Baptist Church, at 906 S. McPherson Church Road.

The images show an older white man wearing a white, short-sleeved shirt, dark pants and a dark tie.

First of all, if you scroll over the picture and read the brief description, the writer makes it sound like this guy stole the whole church. Second, why isn't the church dealing with this? This man, if guily, obviously thought he needed whatever he stole OR isn't quite there. He is too old to be a random thug out for kicks. The church should pray for this man. The church should be there for this man and more than likely someone from this church knows who he is. He came to that church for a reason and I doubt it was for whatever he "supposedly" stole. But like most churches everywhere, there is a severe lack of Christian living and examples sitting in the pews, so this man like most visitors go looking for one thing and come out severly disappointed. It's really sad how two-faced we get as Christians when we walk out the church doors or even more sad, when we are two-faced sitting in the pews. Preach and teach compassion and forgiveness, and yet refuse to practice it ourselves.
