Fayetteville police: Home invasion suspect armed and dangerous

According to police, Joseph Isaiah Owens, 17, of 2329 Indian Creek Drive, and two others burst into a home in the 1500 block of Coley Drive on July 25.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police on Friday identified one man of a trio suspected in an early morning home invasion July 25, calling him "armed and dangerous."

According to police, Joseph Isaiah Owens, 17, of 2329 Indian Creek Drive, and two others burst into a home in the 1500 block of Coley Drive just after 6 a.m., demanded money and threatened the residents, including a child. They stole a purse and made their escape before police arrived.

Owens faces charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon, second-degree kidnapping, breaking and entering, assault on child under 12 and conspiracy.
