Fayetteville police have more questions about Dec. 30 shooting

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Detectives in Fayetteville asked Thursday for help in locating a man they want to question about a Dec. 30 homicide.

Jason Lee Smith was shot and killed at his home at 6111 Regis Court, and another man, Emanual Gantlin, 26, was assaulted, police said.

On Monday, Christopher Andrew Alexander surrendered to police in the case.

He was being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center on charges of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, attempt to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Police also want to talk to Rod-Dregus Cobie King, 19, whose last known address is 4611-B Duncastle Road.
