Fayetteville police described the vehicle that struck and killed a man on his morning walk Sunday as a 1993 Nissan sedan.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police described the vehicle that struck and killed a man on his morning walk Sunday.

Witnesses described the vehicle that killed Dwight Donald Fredricks, 43, as a 1993 Nissan sedan. It has damage to the front, passenger's side corner.

The driver left after hitting Fredricks along Cedar Creek Road, near Fields Road, shortly after 5:30 a.m. Sunday, police said.

 Anyone with information about the crash, the vehicle or its driver is asked to call police at 910-433-1036 or Crime Stoppers at 910-433-8477.
