Fayetteville PD searching for driver in fatal hit-and-run

A 54-year-old motorcycle driver was killed Saturday in a hit-and-run crash in Fayetteville, police said.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A 54-year-old motorcycle driver was killed early Saturday in a hit-and-run crash in Fayetteville, police said.

David Keller, 54, of Fayetteville was driving his 2002 Yamaha motorcycle through the intersection of Morganton and Skibo roads about 4 a.m. when he was hit by another vehicle.

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver of the other vehicle, which was described as a black Cadillac Escalade or similar pickup. The vehicle had a New Orleans Saints logo on the back and damage to the passenger door area.
