Fayetteville PD search for man who stole iPhones

Fayetteville police are searching for a man who stole two iPhones from a store on Morgaton Road earlier this month.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are searching for a man who stole two iPhones from a store on Morganton Road earlier this month.

Police said the man entered Southeast Paging on June 1 and starting browsing the merchandise. A store employee heard an alarm and looked to find the man fleeing the store with the phones.

Employees told police they tried to confront the man, but he showed a gun and drove off in a silver Chevrolet Mailbu.

His image was captured on the store’s security video. He is described as between 5 feet 9 inches and 5 feet 11 inches tall with a goatee.

Anyone with information about the call is asked to call detectives at 910-237-9374 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.

Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for information leading to an arrest, and callers may remain confidential.
