FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Cumberland County investigators arrested a Fayetteville man Tuesday on charges that he violated the No. 1 rule of party etiquette: Don't steal from the host.

Jason Wargny, 20, of 4033 Lemuel Farm Road, was charged with larceny of a firearm and possession of stolen goods. He was released from the Cumberland County Detention Center on a $2,000 bond.

Authorities said Wargny was invited to a gathering at a home on the 2300 block of Grant Road on Tuesday. At some point during the evening, he allegedly filled two bags with items from the house, including three firearms, video games, jewelry and a water cooler jug filled with coins, authorities said.
