Fayetteville man wanted on murder charge

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are looking for a suspect wanted in connection with a fatal shooting.

Terrance Justin Holmes, 22, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Domonte Briggs.

Investigators say Holmes, who lives in the 300 block of Currie Street, is black, stands 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 160 pounds and has a tattoo on his neck of the name Taniaya.

Holmes should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.

Anyone with any information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.
