Fayetteville, N.C. — The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said a Fayetteville man was stabbed to death early Monday in a domestic dispute.
David Lee Covington, 36, of 2010 Smith Road, went to 3612 Oakland Ave. at 4:30 a.m. to confront Victor Alexander Iwanski, 33, and was stabbed during an argument, authorities said.
Covington died during surgery at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
No charges have been filed, but the case remains under investigation.
