Fayetteville man given $500,000 bond after attempted murder

Fayetteville, N.C. — Police jailed a Fayetteville man under a $500,000 bond for a shooting that occurred on July 10.
Darrell Alan Thompson, 27, of 6484 Rockford Dr., was charged with attempted first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and possession of a stolen firearm, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.
The shooting appended along the 1800 block of Wendover Drive, according to police. The shooting victim, 20-year-old Uronde Hardin, is still at the hospital, where is is listed in critical condition.
