A Fayetteville man, who authorities suspect is in the country illegally, was charged Tuesday on accusations that he had sex with a 14-year-old girl.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A Fayetteville man, who authorities suspect is in the country illegally, was charged Tuesday on accusations that he had sex with a 14-year-old girl.
Cumberland County investigators said the girl claimed that Mauro Guadalupe Estrada forced her to engage in sexual activities with him at her sister's house late Monday.
Estrada, 21, of 2973 Orbie Circle, was charged with statutory rape. He was being held at the Cumberland County jail under a detainer from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
