FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Cumberland County sheriff's investigators have charged a Fayetteville man with multiple counts of first degree statutory sex offense and taking indecent liberties with a minor.

Joshua Ervin Sellers, 20, of 822 Southern Ave., was arrested Friday as a result of accusations from two victims, a sheriff's spokeswoman said.

The victims, authorities said, were under age 13 at the time of the alleged encounters, which happened between Jan. 1 and Jun 10, 2009.

Sellers was being processed at the Cumberland County Detention Center Friday afternoon and is expected to appear in court Monday.
