Fayetteville man cut electronic monitoring device, police say

Fayetteville, N.C. — Fayetteville police are searching for a man who cut his electronic monitoring device while waiting for his case to go to trial.
Brandon Cole Dalton, 30, of Fayetteville, wore the device as a condition of his pretrial release for breaking into vehicles, according to the Fayetteville Police Department. He was charged with interfering with an electronic monitoring device.
Police said Dalton is associated with an address in the 700 block of Amber Drive in Fayetteville. He was last seen driving a black, midsize SUV.
