Fayetteville man charged with shooting wife
James Howard Anthony Jenkins, 25, of 870 Brewer St., was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.
Posted — UpdatedFAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Police charged a Fayetteville man Wednesday night with shooting his wife.
James Howard Anthony Jenkins, 25, of 870 Brewer St., was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.
Officers went to Jenkins' home shortly after 6 p.m. in response to a reported shooting. Investigators determined that Jenkins and his wife, Daniella Brisson, were arguing and he shot her, police said.
Brisson, 22, was airlifted to UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, where she was listed in critical condition Thursday.
The shooting remains under investigation.
