FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A 44-year-old Fayetteville man was arrested Thursday after police say he robbed a chocolate shop on Hay Street.

Sonny Dewayne Stetson, of the 300 block of Dick Street, is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and second-degree kidnapping.

According to investigators, Stetson entered The Chocolate Lady about 4 p.m. and took money from the register before forcing an employee into a closet inside the store.

No injuries were reported in the robbery, and Stetson was in the Cumberland County jail Friday under a $20,000 secured bond.
