Fayetteville man charged in fatal stabbing
One man died and another was arrested early Wednesday after a fatal stabbing in Fayetteville, police said.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — One man died and another was arrested early Wednesday after a fatal stabbing in Fayetteville, police said.
Officers responded to 5522 Bragg Blvd. at about 4:45 a.m. and found Wayne Washington, 45, of Fleishman Street, stabbed to death.
Robert Eugene Blue Jr., 38, of Grooms Street, was charged with first-degree murder in the case. He was being held without bond in the Cumberland County Detention Center.
Investigators said the two men were involved in and altercation that led to the stabbing.
