<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — Cumberland County deputies on Wednesday arrested a 59-year-old man charged in a rape reported earlier this month.

Jonathan Lee Hair, of the 1000 block of Deep Creek Road, Fayetteville, is charged with first-degree forcible rape, first-degree kidnapping, communicating threats, assault on a female and violation of a domestic violence protection order.

Authorities say the crimes took place on May 7.

Hair was in the Cumberland County jail Thursday being held without bond.
