Fayetteville man accused of stealing from pregnant woman

Cumberland County sheriff's detectives are searching for a man who is accused of stealing items from a pregnant woman's house.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Cumberland County sheriff's detectives are searching for a man who is accused of stealing items from a pregnant woman's house.

Calem Reese Madden, 22, of 6017 Dahlgreen Ave., is wanted on charges of breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, possession of stolen property and obtaining property by false pretense.

Investigators said Madden broke into a home at 201 East Hudson St. between June 21-22. He is accused of stealing a television, a DVD player, digital converter box and assorted food products.

Madden has a previous criminal history of common law robbery, possession of stolen goods, robbery with a dangerous weapon and assault with a dangerous weapon, according to authorities.
