Fayetteville, N.C. — Cumberland County authorities said Thursday that investigators have filed new charges against a Fayetteville man who was jailed last year on charges that he kidnapped a 13-year-old girl and sold her into sexual servitude.
Kadeem Kirk, 22, of 5719 Meharry Drive, was initially charged with 23 felonies, including second-degree kidnapping, facilitating the prostitution of a minor and conspiracy to prostitute a minor.
Now, investigators have charged him with five counts of statutory rape and one count of second-degree kidnapping in connection with alleged crimes involving a second 14-year-old girl.
Kirk remains in the Cumberland County jail under a bond that has been increased to $2.5 million.
