Fayetteville man, 56, subject of Silver Alert

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office was searching Thursday night for a 56-year-old Fayetteville man who is believed to be cognitively impaired.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office was searching Thursday night for a 56-year-old Fayetteville man who is believed to be cognitively impaired.

Archie "J.E." Lowery was last seen at 3509 Seawell St. 

The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert for him around 10 p.m.

Lowery is white, with gray and black hair and brown eyes. He stands 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs about 128 pounds and has tattoos on his left arm and left hand. 

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, red and gray shoes with white socks and no shirt. 

A photo was not immediately available.

Anyone with information on Lowery's whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff's office at 910-323-1500.
