Fayetteville is first stop on extended McCreery tour

— Country star Scotty McCreery is bringing his first-ever headlining tour, See You Tonight, to the Crown Theatre in Fayetteville.

The tour, which supports McCreery's sophomore album See You Tonight, began in January and has been extended into the fall.

The show is Friday, Oct. 17, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, and start at $29.50.

    Would those of you who are being critical of the guy like him better if he was covered in tattoos and threw in a pile of profanity in his music? I'm not a big fan of country music but I do like to see the good guys do well. And I will be at the show.

    Why all the snark? Dude is hustlin hard and making a buck. I may not care for his music, but I respect the fact that he is pursuing his dreams and making a honest living out of it.

    This guy sounds like a real good egg. I admire younger folks that hit stardom but, yet, stay grounded and humble. His parents did a GREAT job raising him.
