— A Cumberland County high school band leader won't face charges following accusations of sexual misconduct.

A grand jury decided against indicting James Davis, who was suspended in May from his duties as band director at 71st High School in Fayetteville.

Davis, 31, who is also pastor of Mount Zion Church in Eastover, was allowed to return to the school in June.
