Fayetteville children's museum closed after accident
The Fascinate-U Children’s Museum in Fayetteville closed Wednesday after a sign fell off the wall and hit a 6-year-old patron.
Posted — UpdatedFAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The Fascinate-U Children’s Museum in Fayetteville closed Wednesday after a sign fell off the wall and hit a 6-year-old patron.
The girl was taken by ambulance to the Cape Fear Medical Center where she was treated and released for a gash on head.
The museum, at 116 Green St. in downtown Fayetteville, will remain closed until further notice, museum officials said.
They are working to determine the cause of the accident and prevent it from happening again.
