Police were searching for a man who robbed a Fayetteville bank Friday afternoon.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Police were searching for a man who robbed a Fayetteville bank Friday afternoon.

A man walked into the RBC Bank branch at 2897 Village Drive at about 12:30 p.m. and demanded money from a teller. He fled in a burgundy, four-door sedan with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

The robber was described as white, about 6 feet tall and 185 pounds. He was wearing sunglasses and a red-and-black knit cap.
