Fayetteville bank robber sought

— Police were searching for a man who robbed a Fayetteville bank Friday afternoon.

A man walked into the RBC Bank branch at 2897 Village Drive at about 12:30 p.m. and demanded money from a teller. He fled in a burgundy, four-door sedan with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

The robber was described as white, about 6 feet tall and 185 pounds. He was wearing sunglasses and a red-and-black knit cap.

    What's with Fayetteville? Crooks there must think that's how to use the atm. Seems like every day somebody is robbing a bank in that town.

    That Village Drive branch always gets hit for robbery. It's in a bad location. Nice neighborhood, but a bad location because it's set a bit away off from Owen Drive and their are a bunch of trees that surround it.
