FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Firefighters responded to two structure fires within two hours Tuesday night.

The first was at 5007A Clyde St. at around 9:50 p.m. Heavy fire was seen shooting through the roof of the single-story wood frame duplex apartment.

The fire was quickly controlled and there were no injuries. Both apartments appeared to be vacant at the time of the fire, authorities said.

Two hours later, heavy smoke was seen coming from 205 Owen Dr., which houses Water Dragon Fitness. No injuries were reported.

Investigators are currently determining the cause of both fires.
